Lawn mower falls off of trailer, burns

A lawn mower that fell from a trailer and burned on southbound Route 15 yesterday caused traffic to come to a halt for sweltering motorists.
Upper Allen Twp. police said the accident occurred at 3: 40 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the Route 15 near the turnpike entrance when a trailer under tow broke loose from a truck driven by Kelly Keilison of Wellsville. Police said after the trailer broke loose it jackknifed, causing a commercial lawn mower to fall off the trailer. Police said a spark apparently ingnited the mower, which burned in the left lane. The truck, trailer and mower are owned by Granulawn of Camp Hill, police said.
Traffic was stopped in the southbound lanes for 15 minutes, police said.
