ACCIDENTS

EPHRATA: A utility trailer broke loose from a truck and struck a parked truck Thursday morning in the 300 block of East Main Street, borough police said. Michael A. King, 26, Mount Joy, who was driving the truck, is being cited for a towed vehicle violation, police said.


EAST COCALICO TWP.: Terence L. Ott, Lancaster, treated at Lancaster General Hospital following Friday evening chain-reaction crash in the 600 block of North Reading Road (Route 272) township police said. Crash involved vehicles driven by Ott; Richard Trees, Lancaster; and Carolyn Martin, Denver, police said.

EARL TWP.: Cars driven by Francis S. Groff, 340 Linden Grove Road, Ephrata, and David B. Horst, 33 Woodcrest Road, Ephrata, collided at a stop sign early Saturday afternoon at Linden Grove and Wissler roads, New Holland police said. No injuries reported, but both vehicles required towing. Horst failed to yield the right of way, police said.

CHESTER COUNTY: A camper driven by Robert Wilson, 74, Quarryville, struck a cement slab around a drain Thursday on Route 272, north of Route 1, West Nottingham Township, state police at Avondale said. Wilson was not hurt, but his vehicle sustained severe damage, police said. BURGLARIES

DRUMORE TWP.: A $260 television set and a $180 videocassette recorder were stolen Sunday from home of Penny M. Wilson, 1100 block of Fishing Creek Road, Quarryville, state police said. THEFTS

PARADISE TWP.: Dennis Oatman, 44, Lancaster, reported the theft Saturday night of a red Honda Elite motor scooter that was for sale in a front yard in the 3100 block of Lincoln Highway East, state police said. Value of the scooter is $1,500.

LANCASTER: Ryan Benner, 19, of the 300 block of Ice Avenue, reported theft of stereo equipment from a car on Sunday morning, city police said.

LANCASTER: Hockey equipment valued at $700 reported stolen Saturday night from car of Keith Powders, 100 block of Hershey Avenue, city police said.

LANCASTER: Thomas Baron, 40, Long Island, N.Y., reported theft of camera equipment, clothing, and other items from a car Sunday morning in the 100 block of North Ann Street, city police said.

EARL TWP.: Four wheels and rims, $2,500 value, reported stolen last weekend from new car at Sauder Chevrolet, 875 W. Main St., New Holland, borough police said.

EPHRATA: Thieves picked up two orange traffic cones in the 700 block of North Maple Street and threw them into a pickup truck at about 9 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

REAMSTOWN: Angela Steif, first block of North Reamstown Road, reported theft of a $150 stereo from a car Thursday morning, East Cocalico Township police said.

DENVER: Thieves broke into vehicles of Christine Rodnick, Schuylkill; Trisha White, Ephrata; and Earl Bauman, Denver, last Tuesday in the area of North Third and Maple streets, East Cocalico Township police said. A citizen-band radio was stolen from Bauman's vehicle, police said.

DENVER; Six tapes were reported stolen last Tuesday night from vehicle that Harry Rogers, North Reamstown Road, had parked in the 800 block of South Fourth Street, East Cocalico Township police said. THEFT CHARGES

MANHEIM TWP.: Sharon E. Tyler, 29, of 207 Philadelphia Street, York, and Bertha M. Wesley, 30, of 37 Railroad Ave., Manheim, arrested Saturday night for retail theft of $87 worth of clothing from Hill's department store, 1300 Lititz Pike, township police said. DRUNKEN DRIVING

EPHRATA: Brian Stevens Doutt, 20, Mortar Lane, Ephrata, arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicants, underage drinking, and possession of controlled substances early Saturday morning on Lake Street at Fulton Street, state police said.

MANHEIM TWP.: Brian S. Horner, 27, of 465-B Speedwell Forge, Elm, being sent summons for driving while under the influence of intoxicants early Sunday morning in the 2500 block of Lititz Pike, township police said.

LANCASTER: Thomas L. Hills, 28, of 109 N. Lime St., arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicants Saturday night in the 300 block of New Holland Avenue, city police said.

LANCASTER: Thomas L. Tollinger, 40, Kimberly Avenue, New Providence, charged with driving while under the influence of intoxicants early Sunday morning in 100 block of Conestoga Street, city police said.

DENVER: Miguel Angel Jimenez, 21, of 178 Denver Road, Denver, arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicants and hit-run from 11:16 a.m. accident Saturday at Main Street and Snyder Street, East Cocalico Township police said. Jiminez fled after his car struck car driven by James R. Wagner, 504 N. Sixth St., Denver, police said. Wagner followed Jimenez to his home after the crash, police said.

MOUNT JOY TWP.: Timothy Wayne Lookenbill, 22, of 1227 Sagerville Road, Bainbridge, arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicants early Saturday morning on Route 230 at Jonlyn Drive, township police said. DRUG CHARGES

LANCASTER: Paul A. Gattone, 27, of the first block of West Vine Street, arrested for drug-related loitering Saturday on South Mulberry Street, city police said.

LANCASTER: Roberto J. Ocasio, 19, of the 200 block of North Prince Street, being sent summons for possession of marijuana and Edwin Rivera, 27, Emerald Drive, being sent summons for possession of drug paraphernalia from investigation Saturday night in the 300 block of South Queen Street, city police said.

LANCASTER: Wendy L. Ansel, 20, of 13 Oakmont Court, Denver; Renee L. Wywadis, 22, of 215 N. Mulberry St.; and Jessica A. Katherman, 23, Colony Drive, York, being sent summons for possession of marijuana Sunday morning in 200 block of North Mulberry Street, city police said. DRINKING CHARGES

LANCASTER: Cheryl L. Devaugn, 26, of the 600 block of Broad Street, Akron, arrested for public drunkenness Sunday evening at O'Halloran's tavern, 200 Fairview Ave., city police said.

EAST COCALICO TWP.: Thomas Barret, 36, of 6 Garden Court Drive, Stevens, cited for public drunkenness Friday evening on Wild Deer Drive, Stevens, police said. ASSAULTS

LANCASTER: Jessie J. Rayford, of the first block of Coral Street, charged with simple assault (domestic violence) early Sunday morning for allegedly striking Sandra Vega, 18, of the 100 block of South Queen Street, city police said. Vega sustained minor injuries, police said. DISTURBANCES

LANCASTER: Joseph Wayne Randolph, 40, no listed address, arrested for indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness Sunday night in the 600 block of North Prince Street, city police said. VANDALISM

DENVER: Vandals sprayed graffiti on locomotive at 330 Main St., on Thursday, East Cocalico Township police said. A speedometer and gauges were damaged, police added.

DAUPHIN COUNTY: Vandals on Saturday night smashed mailboxes of Norman Richard Leeser, Old Hershey Road, Elizabethtown, and Clarence Walter Eagle, Deodate Road, Elizabethtown, Harrisburg state police said. BOMB THREAT

PENN TWP.: The Manheim Auto Auction was shut down for more than an hour Friday after the switchboard received a bomb threat call at 11:30 a.m., Penn Township police said. A male caller said there was a bomb in the parking lot, police said. No bomb was found.
